Affidavit of Simon Pichel
For Invalid Pension Claim
of his brother, Bernard Pichel


Transcription:  Before the undersigned authority within and for said County and State, personally appeared Simon Pichel who, being duly sworn, states on oath that he is a brother of Bernard Pichel and that the said Simon Pichel himself went to Washington City and took his brother B. Pichel out from Lincoln Hospital at the suggestion and request of the Surgeon in charge of the Hospital.  At that time with Rheumatism and afflictions of the throat. He had Drs. McCook and Dr. (illegible) attending him. Both the Drs are now dead. The said Simon Pichel lived at that time in Pittsburgh also the both Physicians Drs. McCook and (illegible) and both treated him for the same diseases.

That he testifies from personal knowledge and has no interest in this Pension Claim.
